Visionaire 36 - Power. Thomas Demand’s hyperreal image of grass stood in contrast to Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin’s surreal cover collage featuring Bjork. Shiseido face powder was used to silk-screen a portrait by makeup artist Tom Pecheux, turning makeup into art. Housed in an iridescent injection-molded case, POWER welcomes contributors such as Nick Knight, Mariko Mori, Thomas Struth, Roni Horn, Warren du Preez and Nick Thornton Jones, Wolfgang Tillmans, and Peter Fischli/David Weiss.
