Chron II

Book published on the occasion of the homonymous exhibition held in Rome in 2013 at Palazzo Ruspoli. In 2008, Sterling Ruby presented Chron at The Drawing Center in New York, a selection of works on paper that highlighted the importance of drawing in his research. In the same way Chron II emphasizes the significant role of the collage, both from a material and allegorical point of view, within Ruby's artistic practice, focused on interdisciplinarity. The artist describes collage as an "illicit fusion", emphasizing that he sees how the intrinsically transgressive nature of this expressive medium
